The requirements
to obtain a real estate license in the State
of Connecticut are established in state statute.
The Department of Consumer Protection's Real
Estate Division issues the regulations that
govern the issuing of licenses and the educational
requirements.
The general
requirements to sit for the exam are:
1. Provide evidence
of successfully completing a course of no
less than 60 classroom hours in real estate
principles and practices approved by the Real
Estate Commission.
2.
Complete an application for a real estate
salesperson's license.
3. Submit an application fee to the "Treasurer,
State of Connecticut."
You can not apply for a license until you have completed 60 hours of Princples and Practices and passed the school exam with a grade of 70. The Candidate also needs to apply for and pass the State exam with a grade of 70 BEFORE They can apply for a license.

Broker's License.
To obtain a Real Estate Broker's License,
a candidate must have been a licensed real
estate salesperson for a period of two years.
They must have completed a 60 hour course
of Principles and Practices. They also must
complete a 30 hour Appraisal I course and
a 30 hour elective course approved by the
Real Estate Commission.
APPAISAL
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSING
The licensing and certification of appraisers
is regulated by the Connecticut Real Estate
Appraisal Commission. There are several types
of license and certification available, with
varying educational requirements depending
on the type of license or certification desired.
There are also experience requirements for
all but the Provisional License. Below is
